Dinner To Dye For at HAUNT

You pour so much love into the food you nourish your loved ones with. Whether a Tuesday evening or during the holidays you love, at the center, nourishment and connection are always at the forefront. In this beauty you also create with your table setting. This year let your food waste and harvest be a part of that beauty. Come dye cotton/ linens napkins to create one of a kind table setting and learn a wildly beautiful new skill to keep on crafting at your own hearth. 

Together we will go over each medicine dye that comes from our food waste, floral harvests and what is right outside your door!! This practice is more than a craft- it is deeply rooted in regenerative textile, deepening your relationship with the magical plant world around us, and attuning yourself even further into your intuition to capture the wild color and essence- there secret language into fiber. . We will be working with food waste such as pomegranate skin that is full of tannins and the symbols of Persephone’s descent as well as floral and roots harvested amidst Appalachia to deeply root our stories into every moment. 

Each person will receive 4 napkins to dye, all material to dye with, light snack & beverages. You can purchase more napkins if you would like at $8 per napkin but please let me know ahead of time so that I may have them ready for you. 

We gather November 16, 2025 at Haunt in West Asheville. 1pm-4pm

Bring notepad and pen, comfortable shoes as we will be standing, bag to bring damp napkins home if you have one handy.
